GRACE WOMENS PROJECT

Grace Womens Project is located 20 minutes outside Glasgow, Scotland and will provide safe accommodation for women over 18 years old, that have experienced various adversities.  Women residing in Grace House accommodation will have experienced a range of problems such as; poor mental wellbeing, complete destitution and homelessness.  Without our vital support, many of the women would be at high risk of abuse, forced servitude or sexual exploitation.

We want our guests to feel valued from the first moment they enter our accommodation, therefore, our rooms are furnished to extremely high standards that helps women feel welcome on arrival.   Women are able to stay in Grace House up to a maximum of 12 months, providing women appropriate time to organise appeals or make plans for their future.

We recognise that some remain unaware of the challenges and trials many UK Asylum Seekers face, or how a woman may become homeless and destitute.  We share this University of Glasgow TEDx Talk, 'The Refugee Story' by Amal Azzudin to offer an insight.
